Cooked stuff lasts for months in a freezer so make stuff in bulk and freeze it. Imagine a world where you want to make a lovely Bolognese and you burn something, get something else out of the freezer that you made before. Or can’t be arsed to cook? Again, have pots ready to go. You can defrost a bag or tub of Bolognese in the time it takes to cook the pasta.
